Description
An area known as "The White Pocket" lies SW of Page, Arizona, USA. It is not quite as well known as its neighbors to the north...The Wave of North Coyote Butttes and the Paria of South Coyote Buttes but it is a wonderland of Nature's finest brilliance. Twisted and contorted rock is everywhere. Both the South Coyote Buttes and The White Pocket require a 4x4 vehicle to plow through the sand that can make progress difficult if not impossible. Be prepared before entering this area. Tow trucks are few and far between not to mention very expensive if one is required to rescue a wayward photographer or explorer. This is a truly wonderful place...part of the Sacred Earth for certain
