Description
Two hikers enjoying hiking through the beautifully twisted sandstone of "The Wave".
The Wave is a fantastic sandstone sculpture authored by Mother Nature. Located near Page, Arizona it is a wilderness area administrated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) under the authority of the United States Government. Only 20 people are allowed into The Wave every 24 hours...10 are registered via an "On-Line Lottery" while the other 10 lucky souls must attend a "Live Lottery" held in Kanab's BLM office each morning between 8:30 and 9:00 am seven days a week. I have personally been "Lucky" 3 times to have my number drawn with more than 120 people in attendance for "The Draw". This is an incredible area and one that needs regulation with so many people from all over the world in attendance to try to get into The Wave...Good luck to everyone and I hope you enjoy my images and one day travel to The Wave yourself...Cheers Bob

Holy impressive yet again Bob! You're very lucky being able to get selected 3 times. I never did; so that means another trip for me into that entire area. I guess I'm not complaining. Wonderful piece.
