During my recent visit to The Subway, Zion National Park, Utah in September 2014 I was amazed that a recent flash flood had completely changed this iconic location. People take an arduous hike into The Subway to see and photograph the incredible green pools of water that have occupied this place for a very long time...see my other images of The Subway to see the beauty everyone expects to find there. The flash flood has now COMPLETELY FILLED the POOLS with sand. Sadly, it may take years before The Subway returns to its former glory...The photograph here would have been impossible to take under normal conditions. I hope you like this very new image that I believe has never been taken before.

Hi Laurie...A friend of mine just returned from The Subway and the sand has now mostly cleared...The is now 10 feet of water where I took this image from and thus it cannot be repeated...Sometimes lucky. Thank you for your congratulations on my sale as well. I appreciate it very much...Cheers Bob
