Description
The evening that I made this photograph the sky and the reflections on the wet sand were special. The lovely pinks and magentas were everywhere. Most of the day was spent in heavy rain and then,as if by magic, the clouds broke and the sun came through to create this scene...truly "The Magic Of Light'...
Bandon, Oregon has some of the most excellent sea stacks on the West Coast of North America. During the winter months strong storm surges along with high winds and rain make this a land of opportunity for the explorer and the photographer. Here, the waves along with especially high tides have left the sandy beaches littered with sea foam. A lovely sunset appeared out of a full day of rain with little hope for a sunset apparently in sight. As luck would have it, the grey clouds left the scene at the right time and I had my opportunity to make this image. Light, Luck and Location are the key words for creating an interesting image...Cheers Bob
