The incredible space known as The Subway has to be one of the most wonderful areas I have had the good fortune to hike to and to photograph. The Subway's location involves a rigorous hike but is well worth the effort for those who are interested enough. I found this hike and the environs surrounding The Subway to be wonderful. I hiked into The Subway in February 2012 and had the place entirely to myself. It was a thrill to be there for me and, with the short daylight in February, had just enough time to shoot and get out in the dark. This is a demanding area so come prepared.
