Description
The wonderful Heceta Head Lighthouse shown during foggy weather in the early evening. The light is located north of Florence, Oregon and has no doubt saved many a ship from running aground on the rugged Oregon Coast rocks.

And that beam comes around once every 10 seconds :) A real experience is to be walking on the road to the lighthouse just after sunset on a stormy night in winter with the wind howling through the trees. You'll NEVER forget it -- especially with the light beam sweeping over you every 10 seconds :)) Hard to photograph... lol! Nice work, Bob!! F/V

Hi Mick...Yes, Heceta Head is a great place. The forest surrounding the back of the light is very ghostly so I can well imagine the scene you have described here...Again, you have made my day...Cheers Bob
