On my first attempt to find this hidden gem on Vancouver Island with my wife Vivian last week we were stopped by high tides of the Pacific Ocean. In pouring rain we trudged up Sombrio Beach over the slippery rocks only to fail to meet our objective due to the tides. Yesterday was a different experience...We now knew that we must do our exploration at Low Tide to get around a rocky point on the beach. It was a great adventure and Hidden Falls on Sombrio Beach, Vancouver Island Canada was well worth the effort.
