Moments of Beauty...This is the sunrise at Rathtrevor Beach/Tanglewood this morning. I prefer sunsets over sunrises...You can't tell the difference? Well, a sunrise this time of year on Vancouver Island starts getting colorful at approximately 6:45 AM and a Sunset starts around 7:00 PM...That is the difference between photographing a Sunrise and photographing a Sunset...Oh, and there aren't any other people on the beach for sunrise...The good news is I can look out my window and see if there is a chance of a pretty sunrise before walking the 45 seconds to the beach...Have a great day everyone and I hope you had a lovely sunrise where you live...Cheers Bob

Outstanding piece Bob. That's the beauty of being 45 seconds away from a beautiful spot like this. I prefer sunsets as well, however sunrises are more unpredictable; there is always that element of surprise! And you have nailed it my friend - like you always do.

Hi Mick...Yes, it is a gruelling walk...l have only lived on Vancouver Island for a year and a half so l write descriptions like this one to bug my friends in Alberta and other provinces that don’t have the luxury of a beach...You have certainly made my day with your wonderful comments and compliments on my photography today...Have a great weekend...
