The wave known as Jaws rises like a storm front behind the surfer. Jaws AKA Piahi is one forceful bit of territory in Maui. When the storm is raging the surfers will be out there to meet it head to head. Hawaii and its surfing culture are both world famous. Waves at the Pipeline and Jaws are legends. People from all over the world come here to enjoy the water and the sun and the sand. Acess to the beaches and the waves is excellent. People are friendly and generally welcome photographers and other artists who wish to portray them on the waves and on the beach.
